Vico Baths / The Ramparts, County Dublin

After months of waiting, two new guides become available in the same week. This new guide is one of my favourite spots; a place called Vico Baths near the townships of Dalkey and Killiney in County Dublin. This area is incredibly well hidden but boasts dramatic views and is a treasure trove for photographers.

Church Bay, Crosshaven, County Cork

So here we are in March with a new contributor to Ireland. Conal is a student in Cork and has contributed a great guide to Church Bay in Crosshaven, County Cork.

Killiney Bay, County Dublin

I travel a great deal both for work and for pleasure. It has been difficult to find a good source of guides aimed at the photographers of this world. More often than not I don't have much time to explore when I travel to explore randomly and seek out photographic opportunities. With this in mind I was delighted when I saw some fellow Flickr members getting involved in the Free Photo Guides project. I quickly volunteered to be the Irish administrator.

So it is now January and less than a month after first discovering the site I have the first location guide up (North Killiney Bay Beach - Dublin) and another on the way next week hopefully. Enjoy!
